Aroundme App Review-Brian Irish

Aroundme is an app created by Tweakersoft and can be used by both Apple and Android devices. It is a free app that can help you find many different interests close by. It is very useful if you are in an unfamiliar area and need to find something to do.

Aroundme uses the GPS feature on the device to determine your current location. It then uses the Google’s business listings to create a list of attractions that you may be interested in. One downside to this is that local businesses may not be in the database and will not show up on the app. Another problem you may experience is if you have a device with no mobile service such as an iTouch or iPad, the app will not be able to determine your location and come up with all of the listings.

There are many different options available you have to search from. There is basically any type of category you will need to find what you are looking for. Some of the categories listed on this app are hotels, parking, restaurants, supermarkets, banks, gas stations, and etc. If there is a certain place you are looking for, there is a search feature you can use to find the closest one.

A great feature on this app is that when you click on the desired place, it will give you the contact information. You can tap the number to call the business directly. This is great if you need to make reservations for a restaurant. Another good feature is that the app will give you a map of where you are and where the place is in relation to you. It will also give you directions to the destination, which are very accurate.
